Haul in: Horses can come in Sunday no earlier than 4 p.m. All exhibits in this department must be in place by 9 a.m. Monday of the Fair.

Release: 9:30 p.m. Saturday of the Fair. In Gate 7, Out Gate 6 – Line up on grass along fence between Gate 7 and Gate 8 – No 4-H trailers in the Gate before 9:30 p.m.

ENTRIES ARE DUE JULY 6 before 6:00 p.m. TO THE SHOW COMMITTEE by 6 p.m. Entries can be placed on-line or forms are due in the Fair office by July 25th. If July 25th falls on a weekend, entries will be accepted in the Fair office on the following Monday without penalty. Late entries will be charged a fee of $10.00 per head through July 31st. After July 31st late entries may not be accepted.

 

· Members may use only project horses.

· Horses will remain on the fairgrounds for the entire Fair.

· 4-H members must enter Fitting and Showing and choose at least 3 lots. You will be paid only for the 3 highest scored lots.

· Champions in each lot, Grand and Reserve Champion in each class. Trophy for high point individual.

· Fair veterinarian must and will reject any animals with an infectious disease or ectoparasites, ringworm, warts, pink eye, strangles, contagious ecthyma, scabies, lice, mites, ticks, fleas, and all respiratory diseases. All horses will be inspected before entering the barn.

· Medications may be given only with permission of the Superintendent and under the care of a veterinarian. Name and reason for medication must be turned into Superintendent in writing. No performance altering medications are allowed.

· Absolutely no horse will be clipped or bathed on the Fairgrounds. This is to be done prior to arrival.

· 4-H horses will be kept in 4-H section only. No 4-H horse will be allowed in open stalls. No horse may be shown by more than one exhibitor. 4-H members may exhibit only one horse at the Fair.

· Saturday night after 9 p.m., each exhibitor must clean their own stalls to the floor. This includes removing all duct tape, etc. that you have used in your stall area. Absolutely no decorations may be removed before 9:30 p.m.

· Removing hay or grain furnished by the Fair or local businesses is not allowed.

· Superintendent has the right to accept or refuse any entry.

To be entered by club leaders. Judging will be done on a club basis. Each club shall consist of not less than four animals. Scoring will be done according to the score sheet in the 4-H Horse Project Guide.
